Oh how I am so happy to have finished midterms! I apologize for not posting all week, but it was so nice to return to a blog with more followers and comments!
Anyways, seeing how I didn't get any reading time crammed into my study schedule, I'm still reading Perfect Chemistry and boy, is it GOOD! I might want to head to something more geared towards romance and/or fantasy like The Iron Daughter, Winter's Passage, or something dealing with social issues perhaps? Oh who knows...
What's a good book I should read after Perfect Chemistry?

Oh my, it's Follow Friday!
It's Follow Friday at Parajunkee! |
Hello once again! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to post anything at all during the week because of those darn exams. Oh how I detest exams... Anyways, luckily, school invented a great idea called weekends until we get hit with another wave of exams. How fun.
Back to the point...
I found a most delightful meme called Follow Friday! It's hosted by the ever-lovely Parajunkee, and I absolutely adore her blog! I'm quite new to these kinds of things and I do hope I gain some more followers because I'd love some more readers!
Follow Friday's Question: How many reviews do you like to do a week?
I like to do at least two reviews within one week. That's my goal for this blog... or one of them.
Please go check out Parajunkee because well, for one, a) you can join in on the fun and b) you can adore her blog design with me as well!

Today, I'm reading Perfect Chemistry and I...
A fresh, urban twist on the classic tale of star-crossed lovers. When Brittany Ellis walks into chemistry class on the first day of senior year, she has no clue that her carefully created “perfect” life is about to unravel before her eyes. She’s forced to be lab partners with Alex Fuentes, a gang member from the other side of town, and he is about to threaten everything she's worked so hard for—her flawless reputation, her relationship with her boyfriend, and the secret that her home life is anything but perfect. Alex is a bad boy and he knows it. So when he makes a bet with his friends to lure Brittany into his life, he thinks nothing of it. But soon Alex realizes Brittany is a real person with real problems, and suddenly the bet he made in arrogance turns into something much more.
In a passionate story about looking beneath the surface, Simone Elkeles breaks through the stereotypes and barriers that threaten to keep Brittany and Alex apart.
Today, I'm reading Perfect Chemistry and I just don't like it. I LOVE~ it! I've been in the mood for a romance lately and this is the perfect thing. It's totally reminiscent of Grease and Romeo and Juliet which make this book pure awesome sauce. I just bought this book yesterday and I'm already halfway through the book!

Smitten on Sunday (1)
SoS (Smitten on Sunday) is a new meme I've come up with, showing as to what I've been smitten with this past week, be it books, fashion, beauty, or all of the above!
Lately, I've been smitten with the following thing(s):
Lace up ankle boots ♥ |
Lace up ankle boots are just something I adore! Period. These kind of shoes would so go with my little skirts & shirts! However, I can only find these online (Etsy) at this store. They are lace up granny ankle boots that are a size 8, which I am not unfortunately. However, if you like these shoes as much as I do and you're a size 8, you should go check out the shoes because they are on SALE~! And I most definitely envy you if you do end up buying these.

The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
The Iron King by Julie Kagawa Review
Meghan Chase has never fit in at her small-town high school, and now, on the eve of her 16th birthday, she discovers why. When her half brother is kidnapped, Meghan is drawn into a fantastical world she never imagined--the world of Faery, where anything you see may try to eat you, and Meghan is the daughter of the summer faery king. Now she will journey into the depths of Faery to face an unknown enemy . . . and beg the help of a winter prince who might as soon kill her as let her touch his icy heart. The Iron King is the first book in the Iron Fey series.
The Iron King is most certainly an enchanting book because it just blew me away! Julie's writing just pulls the reader in from the very first words and off the reader goes into the Nevernever with Meghan, the hilarious Puck, the ever witty cat, Grim, and that delicious Prince Ash. The way Julie describes this amazing world she re-invented is so... brilliant. I could practically feel, smell, hear and see the way Meghan saw it. The characters are very enjoyable to read about and the plot was such a page turner! Before I knew it, I already finished the book! The ending was good enough to quench my thirst of satisfaction. Its sequel, The Iron Daughter, is already out which I do plan to buy VERY soon.
